AP Exams are HERE

The time has finally come! All of the tremendous hard-work and dedication a large amount of Saint Rose High School students performed is about to be worthwhile! Beginning on Monday, May 4th, the AP tests will be given to the brilliant students who challenged themselves the entire year! Through the colossal amount of homework given and the difficulty of the tests they received, the students are more prepared than ever to take these tests. They each hope to pass with a 4, or even greater with a perfect score of 5. These worldwide tests are huge challenges, however, the students feel their teachers worked so hard the entire year to make them feel comfortable with the information they were taught. Alex Fazzari states “I will actually be taking a few of these tests and at this point I expected to be much more stressed than I am. I came to realize that by putting in so much effort from the start I was able to remember the details of each subject much easier and I feel more confident going into it. It was my most difficult year by far, but in the end it will be rewarding to see how I do on the tests hopefully.”

For week one, Monday, May 7th to Friday, May 11th, there are both morning tests and afternoon tests. The morning will begin at 8am, while the afternoon tests start at 12pm. Once the students are done with their tests for the day, they are able to go home and enjoy the rest of their day after such a nerve racking few hours. However, if they would like, they may go back to classes and finish out the day. They are able to dress down in whatever they will feel most comfortable testing in, to ensure they are able to be completely focused during it. The same thing occurs for week two, Monday, May 14th to Friday May 18th, however, their will be the 8am morning session, the 12pm afternoon session, and then another afternoon session at 2pm for each day. This is because there are three tests that occur each day. It is going to be a long two weeks for the students and teachers, but when the scores come back in July they will hopefully transfer deserving emotions of happiness.

Good luck to all of the amazing students who deserve the best on these upcoming tests! Below is a picture of the full schedule for the two weeks.
